What is collected
Patches ’N Racks is a static website. It has no login, no comment system and no forms that submit to a server. There is no analytics package, no advertising network, no social embed and no tracking pixel on any page.
The hosting provider may keep standard server logs — IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent — as part of normal operation and for abuse prevention. Those logs are not used to build profiles and are not combined with anything else.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser beyond what is
needed for the page to work during your visit. Nothing is written to
localStorage.
Outbound links
Clicking through to a developer's website takes you to a site with its own privacy policy, which may differ considerably from this one. Patches ’N Racks is not responsible for what those sites collect.
Links to third-party sites are marked as external and use
rel="noopener". At present no link contains affiliate tracking
parameters; if that changes it will be disclosed on the
affiliate disclosure page.
Search
Site search runs entirely in your browser against a list of entries that is downloaded with the page. Search terms are never sent anywhere, and are not stored.
If you email the site, the message and your address are kept only as long as needed to deal with the request, and are never added to a mailing list without you asking.
Children
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes
If analytics or advertising is added in future, this page will be updated before it goes live, and a consent mechanism will be used where the law requires one.
